Review: Lilo & Stitch (2025)
Nobody gets left behind or forgotten
I grew up on the original Lilo and Stich, the films and the TV show. Big fan, still quote it often.
I enjoyed the trailers for this, but had some scepticism.
Parental Warning! The live action makes some of the sad scenes from the cartoon more intense, it was enough to make my 6 year old cry.
The cinematography was pretty good, but it helps when filming in such a good landscape.
The cast are young/green and at times it shows, some of the delivery is off.
The score was as good as the original.
Of course Terry Crews would’ve been a better Cobra, but Courtney B. Vance does a good job. Zach plays a good Jumba in the live action, but his voice sounds really wrong in the CGI character.
Nostalgic hit! I can see more coming.
